5 Reasons Why You Need Honeybook

It’s no secret that I absolutely LOVE Honeybook for a number of reasons. It’s been an absolutely game-changer for not only my business but so many clients and virtual assistants. Honeybook is a customer relationship management platform that can allow you to streamline your client experience process and create workflows so you can consistently over deliver. While there are so many reason why you need Honeybook in your business, there are 5 BIG reasons why I believe Honeybook is a must-have for any business owner.

You can manage all of your clients on one platform

Honeybook allows you to manage all of your clients right within the platform. This means that you can communicate with them there, send invoices, contracts, questionnaires, and so much more! Having one spot where you can manage multiple clients at a time will save you a number of hours behind the scenes and allow you to streamline your client experience process. What’s nice too is that you can save all of your contact information within Honeybook as well. Every client has their own portal space within Honeybook that you can share with them and have a place to call their own. Overall, Honeybook has a number of tools that allow you to manage all of your clients and deliver a memorable client experience consistently.

You can manage your finances

One of my favorite features in Honeybook is the ability to manage your business finances! There are a number of ways you can do this and you can also add your bookkeeper or account in there too. One of the most important pieces of information for me to know in my business is my numbers. Having a place where I can look at the overall financial health of my business is HUGE! Honeybook has the ability to create profit/loss statements for you and you can track all of your expenses there too. 

Additionally, I LOVE that I can have all of my invoices in one place and create custom payment plans for my clients. Every client can have their own specific payment plan if you like or you can create a payment plan template for more common packages you book. For the longest time, I was manually creating invoices for clients, trying to find a way to automate them and trusting that they were paid on time. Now, I setup my invoices and payment plans once for each client project and then Honeybook takes care of sending it to them and reminding them of their upcoming payments. A bonus feature too is that if clients have late payment, Honeybook will take care of reminding them about those payments as well – it’s a beautiful thing!

You can setup workflows

Workflows are one of the best features about a platform like Honeybook! A workflow is simply a step-by-step process from start to finish for every client or project. For example, when a client completes a contact form, the next step of the process will be to send them an automated email letting them know what the next step is from there.

Listing out every step of your workflow will allow you to see your overall client experience process and know if there is anything missing. In Honeybook, you can outline your entire process within a customized workflow AND you can also automate certain tasks and steps. Why is this important? Because the more your business grows, the more valuable your time becomes and you don’t want to spend hours behind the scenes sending emails back and forth, sending forms, contracts, and more. Having an automated workflow in place will allow you to deliver that stellar client experience without spending hours behind the scenes doing it all.

You have the ability to create a number of templates

Creating templates saves you HOURS of time! Having templates in place means that you don’t have to be the one to write that email over and over again, format that contract, add the questions into the questionnaire manually, and so much more. Honeybook not only allows you to create a number of template within the platform but you also have some templates included that you can take advantage of when you join as a paying member. Templates help take the guesswork out of your client experience because you know exactly what you are going to send every time. It allows you to be consistent and you can quickly utilize your template with just a few clicks of a button!

I will say, setting up your template initially does take some time on the front end but once you have them all in place, it forever changes things for your business! I would suggest too, revisiting your templates at least quarterly or twice a year so that everything is the most up to date it can be.

It’s Simple & Clean

Finally, one of the biggest reasons I love Honeybook so much is because it’s a simple and clean platform. While every CRM will always have a learning curve to it, Honeybook is a very easy to learn platform compared to some other CRM’s. The more time you spend in Honeybook and play around with the different features, the easier it will become. And you’ll begin to realize the simplicity and how quickly you can navigate behind the scenes. You’ll begin to gain confidence and truly ENJOY using Honeybook!
